Sheryl,

Your mom was one of the sweetest ladies that I ever met. I will never forget the day that she had all of the teachers over for lunch. It was back to school time and she had cooked the most wonderful meal for everyone. It was then that I understood where your kindness and sense of humor came from. I will be praying that you and your family can find peace during this difficult time.

Love ya my friend,
Tina

I have fond memories of working in the Methodist church with LaWanda. She and her brother, James Price Fisher, were hilarious and would keep us laughing in our Sunday School class, while working at the annual barbecue or at our annual New Year bingo party each year. LaWanda always looked like she stepped right out of a fashion magazine, every hair in place. I know she will be missed so much by her beautiful family and I am very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Sandra Kimmons

Praying for the family during this time of sorrow; Lawanda would always make it a point to come and welcome my family every time we would come to Shirley's house to stay. She would always bring a gift, card, or some food to welcome my family. She was such a sweet and caring lady. Susan, my children, and I have very fond memories of her visits. So sorry for your loss. May our Lord bring you comfort and peace during this time. Rev. Curtis Hardie and family.
