Lori Michelle Vaughan

Lori is preceded in death by her husband, David Vaughan; father, Johnny Svrcek; brother, Mark Svrcek; niece and nephews, Maleah Svrcek, Corey Powell, and Beau Oliver.

Lori is survived by her three daughters, Brandy Quillen (Eric) of Crandall, Sheri Vaughan of Mesquite, and Samantha Galvan, (David) of Aubrey; seven grandchildren, Daisy Barker, Lilly Barker, Bailey Quillen, James Price, Scarlett Martinez, Anthony Quillen, and Sophia Galvan. She is survived by her sisters, Vicki Gilbreath, Carroll Svrcek, Edie Williams (Ricky), and Donna Lundy. She is also survived by a wide range of extended family and her bulldog, Sweet Pea.

Lori loved spending time with her grandchildren and bulldog. She had a deep love for music and enjoyed her career working with children for both Mesquite and Sunnyvale ISDs. Lori’s favorite pastime was watching General Hospital.

A visitation for Lori will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with a committal service to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232.
