Louise Lavern Davis was born in Groesbeck, Texas on November 29, 1938 to Wallace Rhodes and Carrie (Williams) Rhodes. She passed away peacefully at her home in Jewett, Texas on August 14, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Paul H. (Buddy) Davis. Left with treasured memories to cherish are her sons Dale Wayne Davis & wife Elizabeth of Menard, Texas and Paul Hampton Davis of Princeton, Illinois. Louise worked for many years as a member of the support staff for a major insurance company but her true vocation was taking care of her family and home. A graveside service will be 2:00pm Thursday August 21, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Combine, Texas where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Buddy.
