Sue was born on August 31, 1955 in Colorado City, Texas to Thomas Earl and Edith Gunn.
After graduation from Grand Prairie High school, she married and had 2 children that she put her all into raising.
In 2001 Sue met and married Steve Ford and gained 3 kids that she loved as her own. Steve and Sue spent many years making memories and taking trips together. They enjoyed traveling in various ways. A Harley trip to Austin, a loop of the South Eastern U.S., a jeep trip to Yellowstone, and a flight to Hawaii. The last vacation they were able to take was to Broken Bow with all their kids and grandkids. A time we will all treasure.
Sue was devoted to spending time with her kids, and even more so, her grandkids. She went to their games, had sleepovers with them, eating junk food all night and ice cream for breakfast. But she also helped with homework and school projects and moving into new apartments as they grew older. Her grandkids knew she would always be there if they needed anything.
Sue also loved going to estate sales and garage sales. She even bought a few storage units on auction. She loved finding old furniture that she could refinish and sell or work on as a project to give to one of her kids. She also loved collectibles and reselling her treasures online. Some of her favorites were McDonalds toys and vintage jewelry.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, Earl Gunn, her sister Marsha Litchfield.
She is survived by her husband Steve, her mother Edith Gunn, children, Lisa Wood and husband Jason, Jeffrey Peterman and wife Amanda, Crissy Seber, Kyle Holder, and Scott Ford and wife Terrenda. Grandchildren, Cambria Seber, Bailey Peterman, Devin Wood, Madison Wood, Austin Holder, Tyler Wood, Riley Peterman, Casey Peterman, and great-grandson Elian Abrahams as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
