Minnie graduated from Corsicana High School in 1957 and went on to attend Navarro College, where she studied business before marrying the love of her life, Bill, on September 6, 1959. Throughout her career, she worked as both an accountant and educator, generously sharing her knowledge by volunteering at the Mesquite Library, where she taught adults essential life skills, including reading, writing, and mathematics. Perhaps most meaningful to Minnie was her service with The Salvation Army, where she deepened her relationship with the Lord and drew strength from her unwavering faith. She and Bill were also devoted members of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church
Minnie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always willing to share her faith with those around her and loved others unconditionally. Her joyful spirit was reflected in her fondness for polka dots and her love of Minnie Mouse.
Minnie enjoyed many hobbies, including bowling, painting, teaching, attending school reunions, and cherishing memories of time spent with her beloved Bill and family. Her faith was central to her life, and she treasured spending time with her dear friends Sarah, Betty, and Norma.
