He didn’t just walk into a room—he brought life with him.
At 34 years old, Tate carried a joy that was contagious and real. He loved adventure, laughter, and living fully. He knew how to turn ordinary moments into memories and how to make people feel lighter just by being himself. Fun wasn’t something he tried to be—it was simply who Tate was.
Tate was a devoted father to his two teenage sons, Jett and Landry, and they were the center of his world. He loved them fiercely and wanted them to grow into strong, confident young men—secure in who they are and proud of who God made them to be. His love for them did not end on this earth; it lives on in their hearts, their laughter, and the way they carry his spirit forward.
He was also an adventurous uncle to his nephew, Dently. Tate encouraged curiosity, courage, and joy—always ready to explore, to teach, and to make life feel exciting. To Dently, he was more than an uncle; he was a guide, a cheerleader, and a safe place.
And then there was his brother, Dent. The two of them were inseparable—like peanut butter and jelly. Their bond was natural and unbreakable. They laughed together, leaned on each other, and walked through life side by side. That brotherhood was a gift, and its love remains.
Tate’s passing on February 2, 2026, was sudden and heartbreaking. The loss has left a silence that feels impossible to fill. Yet even in our grief, Tate’s life continues to speak—through the boys he loved, the family he cherished, and the memories that will never fade.
We grieve deeply because Tate mattered greatly.
We hurt because love runs deep.
Though his life was far too short, his impact was lasting. Tate will live on through Jett and Landry, through Dent, through Dently, and through every life he touched with his joy and light.
Tate will always be a father.
Always a brother and an uncle.
Always loved.
Always ours.
