He worked for Kroger for 30+ years as a mechanic or "trouble shooter." He was a member of Rock of Ages Church in Dallas, TX. He was also a handyman with a big heart and helped family, friends, neighbors, and the church.
Newton was preceded in death by: his parents, sister Margaret Pasley, brothers Dan, Charley, Wesley, Earl Turner, sons, Dwayne and Tony Turner and Anthony Hiser
Newton was survived by; wife JoAnn Turner, daughters, Melinda Hitt (Paul) and Pam Hiser adopted daughter Kristi Murr, sons, Randy (Sondra) Turner, Michael (Cheryl) Hiser, and Tim (Paula) Hiser, sister, Bobbie Lou Lacey and brother David Turner, grandchildren, Shaun Turner, Paul Hitt Jr. Jennah and Kristen Turner, Amanda Farmer, Anthony Nichols, Katelyn Turner, Jeremy, Kenneth, and Alex Hiser, Ashle Bowlby, Michael Wayne Hiser, and Natalie Johnson. 15 Great grandchildren and many friends.
