Patricia Roy Thomas, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend whose gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Born on December 1, 1943, in Denison, Texas, to Burlee Holcemback and Royal Sons, Patricia lived a life centered on faith, family, and kindness.
Patricia worked at Texas Instruments for many years before meeting the love of her life, Jimmie. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and devotion as she dedicated herself to raising their two children. Her faith as a member of the Church of Christ guided her daily life, and her compassion extended to every living creature — especially the many dogs, cats, and little critters she rescued over the years.
She loved traveling, camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew her will remember her gentle heart, her quiet strength, and the way she made others feel cared for.
Patricia is survived by her son Burl Thomas, his wife Victoria, and her beloved grandson Tristan; and by her daughter Holly Thomas. She is reunited in heaven with her husband of 53 years, Jimmie Lee Thomas, who preceded her in death in 2021.
A Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. on June 11, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Seagoville Animal Shelter (or another local animal shelter) in Patricia's name since she loved and rescued many dogs and cats.
