The beloved wife of Brad Turner, together they built a loving home, nurturing not only their own family but also welcoming countless friends and relatives into their circle. Cherished mother to Callie Parker and husband Blake, Racey Turner and wife Shannan, and sister to Carolyn Zimmerman. Nothing brought her more satisfaction than spending time with her kids and grandbabies.
To Peggy, being ‘Mimi’ to Brinleigh, Bentley and Cohen was one of life’s greatest blessings. She often said they were her ‘greatest joy,’ and she lived that truth every day. With love and pride, she poured herself into them, teaching them about Jesus, guiding them with faith and reminding them always of the importance of family.
A woman of remarkable creativity, Peggy’s artistry shone in all she did. She was a gifted crafter, floral arranger, and wedding coordinator, known for bringing beauty and joy to every event she touched. Whether designing an elaborate bouquet or helping a bride walk down the aisle, Peggy put her heart and soul into her work.
Peggy was the heart of her family—the devoted wife, loving mother, treasured sister, caring aunt, and steadfast friend who supported others without hesitation. Though Peggy rarely sought the spotlight, her love for others was evident in countless acts of kindness, big and small. Above all, her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived her life—with compassion, faith, and an open heart.
Peggy’s family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the VNA Hospice staff, especially Monica and Stephanie, for their exceptional care and compassion in her final days. A heartfelt thanks also go to the staff of Pickens 4 for the remarkable attention and comfort provided throughout her treatments and hospital stays.
