Quinnie Fay Williams, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 22, 1941 to Mack and Lottie Mae (Youngblood) Oldfield. Fay was a very loving and caring person, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Although she endured some difficult times in her life, Fay was never one to give up. She was very strong-willed and had a very persevering spirit. With Jesus Christ as her protector and sustainer, there was nothing Fay could not accomplish. She was a faithful prayer warrior, loved to sing beautiful old gospel hymns and read God’s word. Fay was also a wonderful cook – all from scratch and using recipes that only she could duplicate (pinch of this and smidgen of that). She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Lottie Mae Oldfield, husband, Troy S. Williams, daughter, Kay Williams, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tim Williams and wife Danette, James “Bud” Williams and wife Melissa and Lance Williams and wife Jodi; grandchildren, Steven Williams, Amanda McGuire and husband Kevin, Zacherie Williams and wife Christina, Christopher Williams and wife AlexAnne and Samantha Williams; great grandchildren, Jaime Salazar, Jayden McGuire, Samantha Williams, Gabriel Williams, Maximus Williams and Savannah Williams; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
