

He will always be remembered as a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew and loved him.
Raymond was born on February 19, 1938, in Dallas County, Texas to Lewis Newlin Gregg and Clara Mae Hawthorne. Raymond graduated from Seagoville High School in 1956 where he excelled on the football field as a Mighty Dragon. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Costlow, on October 19, 1957. He was a faithful and devoted husband and together they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Raymond worked for Dresser Industries for 40 years. He retired in March 1998 and spent his retirement years in Ruidoso, New Mexico and Canton, Texas, focusing on his love of old cars.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gregg of Canton, Texas; sister Ruth Sorrells and nephew Mark of Seagoville, Texas; son Monty Gregg and wife Ana of El Paso, Texas; daughter Karen Cox and husband Terry of Canton, Texas; grandchildren Shane Cox and wife Emily of Canton, Texas and Keely Plant and husband Lance of Canton, Texas; great-grandchildren Coleton Cox and Carmon Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Justin Lewis Gregg, and brother-in-law Don Dale Sorrells.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Special Olympics in memory of Raymond Gregg.
