attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Richard Ezell Fields, 78 years old past away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Seagoville, Texas. Richard was known by the nickname “Tubby”, however, most called him Daddy or Papa. He was born August 30, 1940 in Griffin, Georgia. His parents were Horace and Doris Fields of Griffin, Ga. He was the second oldest of nine siblings. He was preceding in death by both parents, seven siblings and a son James Michael Fields. He was survived by his oldest son Raymond Fields and his significant other Kirsten Crandall of Seagoville, Texas, his daughter Sandra Adcock and her husband Eddie Adcock of Venus, Texas, his baby daughter Tracie Castor and Fiancé Thomas Ramirez of Terrell, Texas. He has 11 grandchildren. Timothy Feltman of Griffin, Ga., Brandi Miller and Wife Rochelle Miller of Mabank, Texas, Sabrina McClain and husband Rory McClain of Quilan, Texas, Tabitha Smith and husband Adam Smith of Quilan, Texas, Sherrie Woodall of Palestine, Texas, Mary Woodall of Palestine, Texas, Ty Woodall of Palestine, Texas, Amy Miller of Palestine, Texas, Cody Fields of Midlothian, Texas, Cortney Fields of Red Oak, Texas, Halie Hall and significant other Chance Mink of Euless, Texas. He has 22 great grandchildren.
He was a Navy man at a young age. He was a hard worker who chose carpentry as his way of living. He was a loving dad and papa. He enjoyed his life and really enjoyed a good poker game. His number one saying that he lived by was “don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see”. He taught all his children how to work hard for everything you need.
A private viewing is being held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. After the viewing there will be a celebration of his life at his home in Seagoville.
Our Dad and their Papa will be missed but never forgotten.
