Richard Glenn Moore

He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, Papaw, brother and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on March 16, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Betty Norfleet and Glenn Moore.

Rick left school at an early age, joining the workforce as early as age 11. He became a young father and worked hard to provide for his children and instill a hard working ethic in his sons.

He married the love of his life, Regina Gwen Givans, on January 12, 1989 and they were able to spend a combined 34 years together prior to his passing.

Rick could always be found working on something. He was a quiet man, full of peaceful wisdom. He was a man of faith with a devout belief that there is only One God and his name is Jesus and was a proud member of the Main Street Pentecostal church. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He retired from his second career as the owner of a small engine repair shop in 2020.

Richard is survived by his wife, Regina Moore; Children, Wilson Moore of Waxahachie, Texas, Jodi Hill and husband Gregory of Royce City, Texas, Chance Moore and wife Ashley of Mabank, Texas, Blake Moore and wife Angela of Kaufman, Texas; Grandchildren, Trystyn Hill, Brooklyn Hill, Addylyn Hill, Coltyn Hill, Fairrah Moore, Eli Moore, Maverick Moore, and Landon Moore, along with many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Norfleet and son, Shaun Cassidy Moore

A visitation for Rick will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Main Street Pentecostal Church, 1623 W Main St, Gun Barrel City, Texas 75156. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Main Street Pentecostal Church. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas.
