Rita Ferguson (71) went peacefully into the arms of Jesus from her home in Dallas, Texas on June 29, 2015. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on March 15, 1944 to Herbert M. and Lula Bruner Ferguson. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Left with fond memories to cherish is sister Mary Ferguson; brother H.M. Ferguson and wife Patsy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family loved ones, beloved friends and her “Babies” (cats) Punkin and Tootie. Rita enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. Whether she was doing research on the internet or just playing games, she loved her computer. She also enjoyed playing board games. Rumi Kub was one of her favorites. Rita was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A service to celebrate Rita’s life will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas at 10:00 am. Wednesday July 1, 2015. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas where Rita will be laid to rest in the Garden of Scriptures.
