

Rogelio “Roy” Morin, 26 passed away on June 16, 2015 at his home in Dallas, TX. He was born on April 14, 1989 to Efrain and Maria (Montemayor) Morin in Dallas, TX. Roy was raised in Dallas and was a 2007 graduate of Skyline High School. Two of his favorite things were anything that was the color red and tennis shoes and was known as quite the “shoe freak”. He also was very proud of his orange Dodge Challenger, which was the first car that he had bought himself and he enjoyed taking care of it. But most of all, Roy loved his children, affectionately known as “Baby Roy” and “Lexi”, and loved spending quality time with them, along with the rest of his family. Preceding him in death are: grandfather Roberto Montemayor, grandmother Romelia Morin and grandfather Lazaro Morin. Those left to cherish his memory are his son Rogelio Morin, Jr.; daughter Alexia Morin; parents Efrain and Maria Morin; sisters Mary Rangel and husband, Patricio and Maribel Morin; brother Lazaro Morin and wife, Dora Martinez; grandmother Maria Montemayor; the mother of his children, Maritza Espinoza and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that will miss him dearly. Pallbearers are: Lazaro Morin, Miguel Morin, Graviel Morin, Javier Montemayor, Patricio Rangel and Ernest Gonzalez. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 followed by interment in the Garden of Valley View where he will be laid to rest close by his grandfather, Lazaro Morin.
