

Rossi is survived by his daughter Shannon Muller, her husband, Jarrod of Little Elm, Texas and his daughter Jessica Garcia of Pordenone, Italy. He is preceded in death by his parents V.O. and Celia Jaime of Alice, Texas.
Rossi was born on August 11, 1950 in Alice, Texas to V.O. and Celia Jaime. He graduated in 1968 from William Adams High School in Alice Texas. He was a mechanic and firefighter in the Air Force and was honorably discharged after 8 years of service. Rossi was employed for ten years with the Dallas Fire Department and twenty years with Federal Express.
Rossi loved to work on cars, play softball and ride his Harley. He was an active and dedicated member of the Amvets Riders where he was a trustee of Amvets Post 23 and 1st Vice of the Amvets Riders of Post 23. Rossi often went with the Amvets Riders to serve homeless veterans living on the streets of Dallas. He also went on multiple toy runs each year to deliver toys to less fortunate families. Rossi was passionate about all things softball and you could often find him at the softball fields leading a team or mentoring young players.
Rossi enjoyed spending time with his grandsons Damon, Austin and Tyler. He would take them on rides on his motorcycle and show them how to work on cars. Over the span of Rossi's life he had numerous friends and acquaintances and never met a stranger. His genuine personality created instant friendships. His close friends included Mary and Traci, Dawg, Big Dawg, Malcolm P, Lugnut, Yolanda, Freddie and Ray and too many more to name. His friends also included all members of Amvets Post 23, his teammates from the many years of C&R Express, the DFW softball community and countless others.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A Committal Service will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
