Ruth J Corder

Ruth was born May 19, 1934 in Dallas,Texas on May 19, 1934 to Elmer Leroy and Myrtle (Miller) Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leroy Mitchell.

Left with cherished memories is loving and devoted husband, George Corder Sr.; son George Corder Jr. and wife Dottie; daughter Debbie Harrison; daughter Cindy Redd and husband Richard; grandchildren Jared Corder and wife Katelyn, Charisa Hauser and husband Michael Hauser, Melissa Fansler and husband Zach, Christy McClung, Bart Day, Daniel Harrison and Chad Harrison and wife Patty; great grandchildren Haley Colegrove, Makenzie Fansler, Nicholas Fansler, Christian Hauser, Aedan Day, Lincoln Harrison, Case Hubbard and Anna Hubbard; sister Lorraine Morgan and husband Riley; sister Barbara Woods; sister Vickie Miller and husband Gary and many other family loved ones and beloved friends.

Ruth grew up in Pleasant Grove and attended Pleasant Grove High School. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked as a technician at Texas Instruments of Dallas for 27 years. Although she didn't enjoy traveling, Ruth did not mind making frequent trips to the Texas coast and to the casinos. She also enjoyed playing bingo.

Ruth was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A gathering for Ruth will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. Following the gathering will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S. Hwy. 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
