Ruth Cady Reeves

Born Naomi Ruth Cady, on November 17, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to her parents Dorothy Mae & Irby I Cady of Irving, Texas, both of whom have preceded her in death. After graduating from Irving High in 1965, she got her Cosmetology license and a 2-year degree in Marketing. Ruth worked in Dallas Texas Banking for 29 years. Later in life, she and Gary opened and ran a furniture store in Commerce, Texas for 15 years. She lived 78 full and flourishing years. Her proudest moments were the birth of her children. She was a generous Christian woman and she loved so much! Spending time with family, feeding birds, tending to her horses, and photography is how she enjoyed her free time.

Ruth leaves behind her first son, Bobby Mullins and wife, Tracy of Iowa, grandchildren, Jackie, Katie and Bridget Mullins, and two great-grandchildren Owen and Charlie; her second son, Malcome Roger Kanaman Jr. and wife, Lori of Dallas, Texas and granddaughter, Macey Ruth Kanaman; her step-son Timmy Reeves and wife, Kelly and grandchildren, Aaron & Elizabeth Reeves; she also leaves behind her cousin, Elizebeth Pierson-Potcinske; as well as two cats and three horses.

Ruth will be missed dearly by all her beloved family and friends.
