Sammy Franklin Corder

Sammy worked for many years as a maintenance mechanic in and around the Dallas area before becoming disabled in the mid-1980s. He was a very talented mechanic and taught his children valuable skills such as welding and tool use. Sammy struggled for many years with mental health issues but will always be remembered as having a great sense of humor and dearly loving his kids, grandkids, and nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents James and Vera Corder, his son, Jeff Corder and great grandson Skyler Belt.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ricky Corder, and the mother of his children, Sherry Corder Rogers; his siblings: Robert Lee Corder and wife, Mary, Janice Pipkin, Clay Corder and Rachel Stock; grandchildren: Brittany Quincey, Tabitha Walton, Tyler Corder, Amanda Corder, and Robbie Corder; great-grandchildren: Aiden Quincey, Adeline Walton, Everly Walton, Jordon Walton, Emerson Walton, Gracelynn Phipps, Oaklynn Phipps, and Emilia Corder. His extended family and friends will miss him dearly.
