Shannon was born in Pampa, Texas to Donald and Marjorie Johnson. She graduated from Mesquite High School, and later in her life, worked as an Insurance Agent for Hub International. She married her husband Wayne Blanchard September 19, 2008 in Kaufman, Texas.
Shannon loved dogs, and especially adored her pomeranian, Ozzy. She was a homebody who enjoyed spending her free time at home with her husband and fur babies.
Shannon is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Blanchard, and her step-brother, Butch Shell.
