Stephen “Steve” Andrew Williams was born July 14, 1957. Steve took the hand of Jesus to walk the Stairway to Heaven, his Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven, on July, 16, 1957. The second of four children, Steve graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1975 where he played French Horn in the Spruce Apache Band. Steve enjoyed spending time with family and friends – most of all his daughter and son-in-law. He was also very passionate about his hobbies which included hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, playing his guitar and listening to rock ‘n’ roll music. For the past 19 years, Steve worked at Winzer Corporation where he had risen to the position of Director of Marketing. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Williams and brothers, Elton & Jeff Williams. He is survived by his mother, Pat Williams; daughter, Anda Upchurch and her husband, Jonathan; sister, Pam Provin; and many other loving family and friends. Charitable donations may be made in Steve’s name to Texas Parks and Wildlife or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
