Tim Ramsey

Timothy Leon Ramsey, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away on December 7, 2025, in Seagoville. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend by all who knew and loved him. Tim was born on April 26, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Otis L. Ramsey and Jo Merle Parker.

A proud graduate of Seagoville High School, Class of 1972, Tim went on to work for the City of Dallas for 20 years before he and his wife built and operated a successful appliance business until their retirement in 2012. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time spent with his family—especially his young grandson, Noah—and he loved traveling with his wife, Liz, in their RV. Known for his outgoing nature, Tim never met a stranger and always had a story to share.

Tim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elizabeth Beal Ramsey, of Seagoville, TX; daughter Emily Ramsey Estrada and her husband, Robert, of Seagoville, TX; grandson Noah Ramsey Estrada; sister Jill Smith and her husband, Charles David, of Caney City, TX; brother Joel Morrison and his wife, Roxanne, of Richardson, TX; brother-in-law David Beal and his wife, Diane, of Sunnyvale, TX; nieces Ami Dolive and her husband, Steve, of Canton, TX; Jenni Miller of Malakoff, TX; and Kim Freisem and her husband, Allen, of Atlanta, GA; nephews Brian Beal and his wife, Leah, of Altadena, CA; Bryan Morrison of Richardson, TX; and Travis Morrison and his wife, Theresa, of Plano, TX; as well as great-nephews Cash and Cooper Dolive, Phoenix Miller, Henry, Charlie, and Sam Freisem, and Oliver and Arlo Beal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis L. Ramsey and Jo Merle Parker Ramsey.

A gathering in memory of Tim will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S. Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159, on December 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
