Travis Lee Hudson was born in Dallas, Texas on August 7, 1948. He passed away peacefully at his home in Balch Springs, Texas on May 23, 2017. Travis is preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Wilson Hudson and his mother, Lillie Mae (Lee) Hudson. Left with cherished memories is his daughter Tasha Lenee Hudson; his grandchildren Meleah Dawn Hudson and River Prather; his siblings Joy Annette Hudson Tull, Richard Edmund Hudson and Linda Gail Hudson Davis and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family loved ones. Travis proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam war. He was very proud to have served and was equally proud of the marksmanship award he won while serving. Trav, as he was often called, was fond of simpler things in life. He enjoyed piddling in the garage, listening to country music and watching old westerns. He liked CB Radios and was known as “Tumbleweed” to his CB friends. He also enjoyed swinging on the front porch and picking at people just to aggravate them a little. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed. A memorial service to celebrate Travis’s life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday May 27th at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Please leave condolences for the family at www.roselawn-funerals.com.
