Velma Faye Weaver Born Thursday April 22, 1920 Graduated to Heaven Saturday July 29, 2017 Celebrating And Honoring Mom’s Life Velma Weaver, Mom, loved Jesus first, family second, friends third, and everything else came after that. She worked hard, sacrificed tremendously for her family, loved her family unconditionally, loved serving and encouraging others, made a big difference in the lives of those she knew, and helped make the world a better place. Her husband, James Herbert Weaver Sr. and her precious daughter, Shirley Ann Weaver Berry, precede mom in death. Her two sons, James Weaver Jr. and Bo Wayne Weaver, seven grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren survive her. “Mom was my number one source for encouragement, inspiration, and support. When others said I could not accomplish something, mom was there to say, “You can do anything you set your mind to.” I owe everything to her.” James “Today, as we say goodbye to Mom, it is a sad day but also a happy day because we know that she is no longer suffering but is now in Heaven for eternity.
