my girls and i want to say how very much we appreciate all the wonderful words about my mom...she is missed so very deeply...

I must begin by saying Vicky is and was a very special lady. I began coming to Black Eyed Pea many years ago and began a friendship with Vicky. My husband  and I came and told her our stories week after week and she shared her stories with us. She always took time to come and talk to us time after time year after year. She was the reason to come there and eat. She often talked of her daughter and grandchildren to me because I had a daughter and grandaughter. She always wanted to know how we were doing and what our plans were for the day. She is missed so much. I walked into the restaurant today to see the tribute they had to her and broke down. I didn't know at all. I talked to her not long ago and she was in good spirits and we talked of her thick beautiful hair. I really felt a true friendship with Vicky because of her warm heart. She loved her family so much and my heart goes out to all of them. My grandbaby calls me Mimi as well. I'm still in shock of her passing and will miss her terribly. Bless your heart Vicky,Heaven has gained one special angel. Until I see you again.

When we arrived at the restaurant today we were sadden to hear that Vicky would no longer be sharing her smile and stories with us.  We will miss comparing our grand parent stories about the daughter and grand children she was so proud of and dearly loved.  May God in Heaven bless Vicky and here family, now at the hour of their need.

P.S. Thanks to Vicky and my persistent requests, the BEP now serves a no sugar added cheese cake......and I had a piece in her honor today.....Thank you Vicky......rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Vicky was such a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. So many of her guest at the Black-eyed Pea have been asking about her and sending prayers since she stopped working. She touched so many lives and what an awesome smile. Thanks for sharing the pics.
