If I had only one word to describe my mother in law, it would be "devoted". She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. To say she loved Jesus would be an understatement. She was in love and devoted her life to Jesus Christ and the will of his kingdom.
She could light up a room with just her smile and personality. She lived her life to the fullest and never wasted one minute. Mom I love you and you will never be forgotten in my heart or in my home...Yes mom it's all about ACTS 2:38.......but I promise you mom "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord". I will see you again so this is not goodbye.........I will see you on the other side.....To God be the Glory.

Where to begin?.... I count it a honor and privilege to have been able to call her Mom.To say she served the Lord would be a understatement. Her daily LIFE was serving the Lord.Every opportunity she got she would share her faith and the plan of salvation (Acts 2:38)..She was a prayer warrior and faithful to her standards, traditions and beliefs. She was the type of mother who loved unconditionally but was quick to discipline when needed. She always would tell me.."Always do what's right..even when no one is looking"...If I become half the parent she was to me...I'll be thankful. She taught me so many things that it would take a lifetime to write. She poured her heart and soul into guiding and teaching me the ways of the Lord. And so in her honor and to start to carry her legacy..Anyone who is reading this..I would count it a honor and privilege to share with you what she shared with so many...the plan if salvation...Acts 2:38..Repent,Be baptized in JESUS NAME...and you shall receive the gift of the holyghost...Mama,I will pick up the torch and carry on...until we meet outside the Eastern gate...I love you and will continue to teach my children the truth so they can have the glorious promise of seeing you again...you live on through them...I love you.

I will miss this sweet woman of God... Momma Kearns always greeted me so warmly at church and I could feel
Her love and prayers! She was a worshipper and an encouragement to be around! Last year I went by Shannon’s house to pray for her after a hospital stay- she ended up praying and blessing me with her spirit and faith!
I love and honor your memory. We will see you again...soon.
