Virginia Blackwell

Virginia Mae Blackwell (77) of Kemp, Texas passed away on December 30, 2015. She was born in Denver, Colorado on August 21, 1938. Virginia is preceded in death by her father, Thomas P. Hickey and her mother Doris E. (Richards) Hickey; her daughter Janie Crowley; her son James Blackwell Jr.; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Left with cherished memories is her daughter Cynthia Beasley; son Gary Blackwell Sr.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Janie Rhodes and Rosie Smith and brother Lee Hickey Sr. Virginia enjoyed fishing and crocheting but she was happiest when her family was near her. Time with family was precious to her and she loved every minute when family members got together. She loved her family very much and loved by her family equally. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas.
