Walter Johann Burns (Hans) was born June 7th, 1952 to Walter Vernon Burns and Maria Pulk Burns in Georgia. Hans will be laid to rest alongside his mother and father whom preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death is sister, JoeLee Burns Allen.

Left to cherish his memories are his 2 children; William Lee Burns of Ennis, Texas and Walter Allen Burns of Denton, Texas. His 3 granddaughters; Hannah Leigh Burns and Olivia Renee Burns of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Noraleigh June Burns of Denton, Texas. Sisters & Brothers; Maria Burns Hicks of Colleyville, Texas, Frank Burns of Washington, Missouri, Leslie James Burns of Wylie, Texas and David Vernon Burns Crawfordsville, Florida. Hans was survived by his many nieces, nephews and their children and many good friends; all of whom he loved, and enjoyed entertaining with his music and wiley charms.

Hans had a love for dogs and gardening. He loved playing his guitar and writing music lyrics and poetry. He was a very articulate and creative wordsmith.

Hans will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
