
William Elbert Ingram Graveside Services for William Elbert Ingram of Dallas, Texas are scheduled for 11 AM Monday May 12, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Peace. Mr. Ingram passed away May 8, 2014 at the age of 91 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 11, 1923 in Lindale, Texas to Ennis Elbert Ingram and Mary Lena Starnes Ingram. He attended Tyler Commercial College in Tyler, Texas and prior to WW II, worked at LaWard, Texas in the office of Rural Electric Co. and Bethlehem Oilfield Supply Co. During WW II he was assigned to the office of headquarter Squadron for the 486th B-17 Bomb Group based in Sudbury England. After the war he worked a short time for Bethlehem Supply Co. at Winnsboro, Texas prior to being hired in the home office of Hunt Oil Company at Dallas, Texas. After 34 years of faithful service, he retired with Hunt Energy Corporation as Supervisor of the Joint Interest and Material Accounting Dept. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Vivian Raye Ingram, parents Ennis Elbert and Mary Lena Ingram, sister Estelle Pike, brothers Thomas L. Ingram and James A Ingram. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Bill and Gabriele Ingram, 2 grandchildren Dennis and Gina Ingram. Mr. Ingram will be remembered as a loving son, friend, brother, husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. Military Honors will be rendered at Graveside to honor Elbert’s faithful and dedicated Military Service.
