Willie E. Evans, age 85 passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Willie was born December 27, 1932 in Kemp, Texas to Virgil and Bessie Hamilton, both of whom preceded her in death along with her husband, MC Buddy, her four siblings and her Grandson, Brian Roberson.
Willie had a heart for serving others and worked for DISD for 30 years, working in the cafeteria. She loved all the kids so much that she would even buy ice cream for the kids who didn't have any. She was one to always put others first no matter what. A well-known and much loved woman, Willie will be missed by her family, friends and the many others whose lives she touched with her generosity and love.
Willie leaves to cherish her memory her son: Charlie Evans; daughter: Alice Roberson and husband Clifford; eight grand-children: eleven great-great grandchildren: two brothers: one sister: as well as other family love ones and a host of friends.
A visitation for Willie will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM following immediately with a committal service at Rains Hall Cemetery, 1665 Combine Rd., Seagoville, TX 75159.
