Andrew Jason Rounds

February 16, 1982 – June 28, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Andrew Rounds, who passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of his wife and family.

Born on February 16, 1982, in Wichita, Kansas, Andrew spent his early years there before moving to Monroeville, Pennsylvania. He came from a long line of proud military veterans whose service dated back to the Civil War. Continuing that legacy, Andrew honorably served four years in the United States Marine Corps. After completing his military service, he attended college in San Diego, where he met the love of his life, Marisol. Together they built a beautiful life and eventually made their home in Seaside, California, where Andrew proudly worked at Home Depot, a job he truly loved and enjoyed helping others every day.

Andrew was a devoted husband to Marisol, a loving father to his daughter, Rylee, a cherished son, beloved brother, uncle, loyal friend, and proud Marine veteran. He lived with strength, resilience, and unwavering love for those around him, facing every challenge with courage, humility, and quiet determination.

A cowboy at heart with an infectious smile that could brighten any room, Andrew had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He had a passion for collecting baseball caps—you would rarely catch him without one. He loved watching baseball, building custom fight sticks, working on computers, collecting wrestling memorabilia and sneakers, and would often joke about his expensive hobbies. Some of his happiest moments were spent watching wrestling with his niece Daevinee and nephew Demitri , sharing laughs and creating memories they will cherish forever. He also adored his faithful dog, Mookie, who was always by his side.

Above all, Andrew treasured his family and friends. His kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and quiet strength touched countless lives. Whether through a smile, a helping hand, or simply being present, he made people feel loved. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Marisol; his beloved daughter, Rylee; his parents, Jeffery and Dixie Rounds; his brother, Kyle Rounds (Lindsey); his niece, Reagan; his nephew, Knox; his niece, Leighton; his father-in-law, Adan Hernandez; his brother-in-law, Daniel Hernandez (Dawnnese); his nephew, Dominic; his niece, Danika; his niece, Daevinee; his nephew, Demitri; his sisters-in-law, Alicia Hernandez (Raul) and Erica Hernandez; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and his beloved dog, Mookie, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.

Although our hearts are broken by his loss, we are forever grateful for the time we shared with him. Andrew’s strength, loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply, the friendships he treasured, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A viewing will be held at Bayside Community Mortuary on July 13, 2026 from 5–7pm. Burial will take place at California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery on July 14th at 10:30am. A celebration will follow.
