The last surviving sibling of her sisters and brothers — Norma Henson, Charles Henson, Abraham Henson, Aubrey Henson, and Thurman Henson — Bea now leaves behind her beloved sister, Melody Boykins. She was a cherished aunt to 10 nephews and 10 nieces, a proud great-aunt to many great-nieces and nephews, and was blessed with a large extended family including numerous cousins.
For over 40 years, Bea worked in the Monterey Peninsula, dedicating her last 15 years as a Collections Specialist at Monterey County Bank. She was known for her professionalism, commitment, and genuine care for others.
Outside of work, Bea was an avid sports fan and a faithful supporter of her favorite teams: the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco Giants. Her quick wit, infectious laugh, and ability to light up any room made her the life of every gathering.
Bea’s life was a testament to joy, resilience, and the power of family. She will be remembered for her humor, her strength, and the way she loved deeply. “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
