Bimla Wati Prasad
September 14, 1940 – January 27, 2018
Bimla Prasad was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father (Moti Lal), mother (Kewala Pati), sister (Chandra Sharma), and brother (Shiu Lal). Bimla is survived by four sisters (Satya Prasad, Madhu Chand, Sushila Verma, & Bijee Pillay), and one brother (Rajendra Lal). She was married to Kanhaiya Prasad for 57 years. Together they had five children, two son-in-laws (Hirdesh & Yatish), and one daughter-in-law (Teresina). Bimla found great joy in her eight grandchildren (Letica, Charlene, Joshua, Ashley, Andrew, Cynthia, Cadell, & Amanda) and had one great grandchild (Zander). Bimla had a long career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She was proud of the work she did to ensure that her patients were comfortable and well cared for. She received many awards in recognition of her hard work at Bayview Hospital.

I am so sorry for the loss of this beautiful woman. I was blessed to have worked with her so many years ago, and now I work with her daughter Suman. My prayers go out to all of her family. May the beautiful memories she left you with give you some comfort. God Bless You.
