Cam Hon Chung was born on September 22, 1944, in Vietnam, and passed away on January 16, 2025, at Monterey Hospital. He was a beloved father, dedicated worker, and a respected member of his community. Cam moved to the United States on March 23, 1998, where he continued his passion for craftsmanship at the Monterey Sculpture Center. Over 20 years, he made significant contributions to the center and the local art community. Before immigrating to the U.S., Cam served as an assistant manager at Sapuwa Water Company in Go Vap, Vietnam, where he was known for his diligence and leadership. Cam’s legacy of hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence will be remembered by all who knew him. Thank you so much!
A visitation for Cam will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street, Seaside, CA 93955. A visitation will occur Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Golden Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 2099 Hillside BLVD, Colma, CA 94014.
