Hello old friend, so many good memories,the Gida  house on Wanda street, our group spontaneous court sessions. being guilty was a matter of fun formalities, music of the 70's and the Gida mobile, many of us just piled in while you drove..no seat belt laws back then...so much fun, laughter and long time memories.

Wow I don't even know where to begin but let me try ELEMENTARY  You were always my best friend you looked out for me and made sure I was good I feel bad cuz we didn't stay as close as we were when we were young I reached out to you Seaside Post Office YOU Taxi service and we just kinda clicked for that moment D u was just so laid back my bad for not saying you always kept my head above water  I should've told you then that YOU kept me straight and made sure I was good I loved you D you made a big impact in my life cuz you held your own my elementary best friend to the end Rest Easy Bruh

So sorry to hear of Duane's passing! I met Duane when I was employed with Monterey Airport District years ago. In my opinion, Duane was a great businessman. He was one of the taxi proprietor serving the airport and surrounding communities as well as manager of a tree trimming business. He seemed happy, always with a smile, Duane was  a very professional, positive and upbeat person. I liked him as a businessman, and considered him a friend. Condolences and prayers to the family!

Say Hi To Mike.....

Duane and I were very good friends for about 15 years. We became friends when we worked together in banking years ago. He was a member of my wedding party. Our passion was playing golf almost on a weekly basis. We loved competing against each other. Duane could drive the ball from 350 yards to 450 yards at a time when the professionals were averaging about 275 yards. In addition to being a very good golfer, Duane was a super power weight lifter. He could squat 600 lbs. His athletic skills were amazing. As a person, Duane had a great sense of humor, was a loyal friend, and he loved and was very proud of his family. I will miss Duane very much. My sincerest condolences go out to Duane’s family. May Duane Rest In Peace with the Lord.

I will miss Duane,  and I am sorry that I did not get a chance to know him better, but I will carry the memory of him for many years to come.
