Preceded in death by his father Alberto, mother Elias, brothers Domingo, Alberto Jr and Emilio, and sister Julia.
Survived by his brother Josue, and sisters Carmen Luisa and Ana Eva, wife Liselotte, children Margarita Luisa (husband Brian), Alberto Luis (wife Joanne), and Eliezer Jr (wife Frankie Ann), 5 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Eliezer was a 26 year veteran of the United States Army, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant, and traveling to many places in the United States and overseas as he served his country. He was known by the nickname “Pete”, and especially enjoyed tours to West Germany, where he met his beloved wife of 63 years, Liselotte. Together they raised three children, Margarita, Alberto and Eliezer Jr. as they traveled, finally retiring to a wonderful life in Seaside, CA. Eliezer was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and other service and good conduct awards in recognition of his honorable service. In retirement Eliezer enjoyed long walks along the beautiful Monterey coast with his wife, with daily trips to the Coast Guard pier to feed the many pigeons who came to recognize them. He was an avid gardener, and spent many hours grooming his exotic plants and trees. He was a dedicated Yankees fan who did not miss a televised game, and he and Liselotte spent many hours watching baseball. All who knew him appreciated his sense of humor, and bright loving spirit. He lived his 88 years well, and will be missed by family and friends until we meet again.
