Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m Free.

I am following the path God laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard him call,

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

to laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I found that peace at the beginning of the day.

If my parting has left a void,

then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Ah, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with time of sorrow,

I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savored much,

Good family, friends, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me.

God wanted me now, he set me free.

Soy Libre

No lloren por mí,

ahora soy libre.

Voy a seguir el camino que Dios puso para mí.

Tomé su mano al escuchar su llamado.

Di vuelta y deje todo atrás.

No puedo quedarme otro día más,

para reír, amar, trabajar, o jugar.

Tareas incompletas se quedarán así.

Encontré paz al final del día.

Si mi partida ha dejado un vacío,

Llénenlo con recuerdos bellos,

recuerdos de felicidad. Un abrazo,

una sonrisa, o un beso.

Yo también los extrañaré.

No sufran con el peso de tristeza.

Les deseo el sol de la mañana.

Mi vida fue llena, disfruté mucho,

buena familia, buenos tiempos, los amé a todos.

Quizás mi vida les pareció corta.

No la alarguen lamentando por mí.

Levanten sus corazones y disfruten conmigo.
