I am at a loss for words to comfort you and Nicole. I loved your mom so much! We became very close over the years. My favorite memory of her, besides being the nicest person you could meet,  is she loved  sweets! It didn't  matter cookies, ice cream, chocolate  etc. I remember her sitting on the couch next to her as she watched het shows. She would always kiss my hands and smiled.
Rest in Peace 🙏. 

Debbie and Nicole I know how much you Loved your Mother and Grandmother.  I'm so sad for your heart break.  I have always known your Mom to be a kind and Loving person
and as your sister-in-law and Aunt  my heart goes out to both of you. When I think of my Mother-in-Law, I think of a Queen. Everyone who knew her, knew she was strong, loving, and kind. For 47 years, since I was 16, she treated me like a son. She was a second Mother to me.  When I think of her, the game of chess comes to mind. The Queen, being the most powerful piece, played against the most powerful opponent, The Almighty himself. Through the years of raising her pawns, she carefully planned her moves, always managing to get out of Checkmate! She watched them make moves of their own. Some went left, some went right. It was a long journey and she became tired. The Almighty himself yelled, "Checkmate!" Now our Queen is in Heaven, a better place. Take care of her.  May she rest in peace. I challenge all pawns who still have their Queens, cherish her, before you hear, "Checkmate!"  I love you, Mama Ford.
