Irene Hilde Wyatt, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home, on January 28, 2025, at the age of 82. Known for her strength, warmth, and vibrant spirit, Irene remained deeply connected to the things she loved—especially her family (including her fur baby Tiny), gardening and the beauty of life. Even in her final days, she expressed her eagerness to return to her garden which she cherished so much, and often reflected on the blessings of her long, full life.
Born in Germany on January 24, 1943, to Franz and Elfriede Alex, Irene immigrated to the United States in 1963 where she became a proud citizen and lived a blessed life raising her family. Irene worked as a Food Service Manager for the Monterey County School District for over 30 years. Her life was defined by a deep love for her family and an unwavering dedication to those around her. Her kindness, resilience, and joy will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, her beloved daughter, Angela Ellis and her cherished fur baby Tasha. She is survived by her son, Andreas Paden (Laura) of Livermore, her daughter, Renee Parker (William) of Prunedale, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and her loving fur baby Tiny.
Her legacy of compassion, strength, and enduring love will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind. Irene will be missed beyond measure, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her.
