Born on July 23, 1949, in Salinas, CA. Jerry Passed away in Fresno, CA after a short illness.
Preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Neomi Cerna, brother Jackie Cerna, and niece Regina Cerna. He is survived by his sister, Diane Cerna Villanueva(Julian), and Michael Cerna(Lucy), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry loved to ride his bike around the neighborhood and play basketball. He participated in the Special Olympics at Monterey Peninsula College for several years. Jerry attended Bard Blades School and the Opportunity workshop in Salinas, CA. He also bowled with his school. When he moved to Fresno, CA with our parents, he attended united cerebral palsy of central california, where he worked and socialized.

Jerry will be greatly missed by all his family. We are grateful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did.
Visitation will be held at North County Christian Center, 11299 Poole St, Castroville, CA 95012, US, on October 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Castroville Moss Landing Cemetery, Moss Landing, Moss Landing, CA 95039, US, on October 23, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
