

Patti was born Patricia Mae Dietz in Niagara Falls New York on February 28th 1950. She was the second child of William and Virginia Dietz. Growing up on the Niagara river she and her brother Jack sister Kathy learned how to swim creating unforgettable memories. She attended LaSalle High School making many life long friends. Patti attended the University of Buffalo and went on to work for Niagara Falls aquarium. In her early twenties she married John Krolick and gave birth to her son Ethan Krolick. Following her dreams she moved to California in the late 1970s to join her sister Katherine Scott. In 1981 Patti met James Oglietti who became her husband and father of their two daughters Emily and Adriane. In 2013, they became grandparents to Avery Williams. Patti and James lived in Seaside for 35 years.
Patti had a passion for peace and human rights. She demonstrated against the war in Vietnam and was an active member in her community volunteering as the mayors aid for the city of Seaside. Patti had a great appreciation for animals and nature which led her to become an AHT and employee for Pt Lobos state reserve. She enjoyed many camping trips to Yosemite with her family. Her happiest moments were spent with her husband taking trips in their RV to places like Big Sur, Seqioua National Park, and The Grand Canyon.
