Randell was born on October 14, 1957 in Japan to John and Kimiko Taylor and grew up in Seaside, California where he was a longtime resident. After graduating from Monterey High School, Randell attended San Francisco State University and San Diego State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree. Randell enjoyed golfing, eating out and spending time with friends and family. He worked and retired from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Randell is survived by mother Kimiko Taylor, sister Michelle Hill (John), nieces Domonique Hill(Anthony) and Alexandria Nieto, great-nieces Ty’Layah Richburg and Amayah Loving. He was preceded in death by father John Taylor Jr., brother John Taylor III and sister Kathleen Taylor-Nieto.
