Richard Ruelan Dela Cruz was born on October 22, 1964 to Anita and Penticostes Dela Cruz. Growing up with four siblings, Richard always found a way to make everyone laugh. He loved music, fishing and sports and always remained a strong believer in his faith. After graduating from Seaside High School in 1982, Richard went on to pursue different paths leading him to move to Southern California.
In 1997 Richard welcomed his daughter, Isabell. Richard soon became not only a full-time businessman, but a full-time Dad. Watching Isabell grow and find passions of her own continued to strengthen their bond of pride and love that was evident to everyone who knew him. Over time, Richard eventually found his niche in the world of the web maintaining multiple businesses all from his laptop. His networks led him to opportunities as a Western Regional Sales Manager for S & S Pro Services, Senior Representative for Primerica, and most recently, head of Wom Town CO. Richard's networks allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life inspiring him to help in every way possible. From donations to volunteering, Richard could be found helping anyone in need.
Although Richard is no longer with us, his presence, his love and his laugh remains in all of our hearts. Richard always put family first and touched so many lives as a brother, uncle, son, friend and father. He is survived by his daughter, Isabell, his mother, Anita, his siblings, Marilyn, Connie, Burton and Carolyn, his countless nieces, nephews and cousins and his loving dog, Panda.
"I waited patiently for the Lord;
He turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear The Lord
and put their trust in Him."
Arrangements under the direction of Bayside Community Mortuary, Seaside, CA.
