Thomas Eugene Mobley
May 28, 1951 – July 6, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, faithful servant of God, and friend, Thomas Eugene Mobley, who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 6, 2026, at the age of 75.
Tom was born on May 28, 1951, in Rolla, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring after 20 years of honorable service. Following his military retirement, he continued serving his community through a career with the United States Postal Service until his retirement.
Tom's faith in Jesus Christ transformed his life and became the foundation of who he was. He faithfully served as an usher and church board member at Marina First Assembly of God Church, where he found not only a place of worship but a church family he dearly loved. Tom was often one of the first smiling faces people saw when they walked through the doors. He had a gift for making people feel at home, greeting them with a warm smile, an open heart, and one of the many hugs for which he became so well known. His kindness, gentle spirit, and servant's heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Tom was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sok Hui Kim Mobley, and a loving father to his daughter, Madonna Navarro. He also shared a deeply cherished bond with JiHyun Kim and BoKyung Kim, who lovingly knew him as Grandpa and held a special place in his heart. Family meant everything to Tom, and he faithfully demonstrated his love through his presence, generosity, and unwavering support.
Tom was known for his quiet strength, humility, dependability, and compassion. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, share an encouraging word, or simply be present for someone in need. His life was not defined by titles or accomplishments alone, but by the countless lives he touched through simple acts of kindness, genuine friendship, and steadfast love.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we rejoice in the hope and promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We find comfort in knowing that Tom is now at peace in the presence of the Savior he loved and faithfully served.
Tom's legacy of faith, service, kindness, and unconditional love will continue to live on through his family, his church family, and all those who were blessed to know him.
