Tom, as we knew him, was a friend of our family for decades and spending time with him and his family was always a great time! I remember playing with his kids, barbecuing, making pizzas and so much more. Tom was a wonderful friend, a dedicated firefighter and a shining light in the world. 
Rest well Tom, and be sure to look up Rod as you wander through and get settled in heaven.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember seeing your family when you lived in Ballard. Your father and I had the same date of birth. My father knew Tom (Alan) from the army. I remember everyone fondly. My favorite memory is chasing your chickens in the backyard. Please accept my condolences. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
