Born in Havana, Cuba, on December 4, 1954, to Arnaldo and Francisca Morales, Albert's journey brought him to the United States in September 1961. He embraced his new home, graduating from Nathan Hale High School in Seattle in June 1972.
Albert was a man of many passions. A gifted musician, he shared his love of music as a singer and guitarist in various Northwest bands throughout the 1970s. In the spring of 1979, fate led him to Star at the Lakeridge Restaurant in Redmond, beginning a love story that would last a lifetime. They married on August 8, 1981. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed two daughters, Danielle (born 1983) and Holly (born 1985).
Alberto earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Sciences from ITT Peterson in September 1986 and went on to work for Horizon Airlines, Boeing and Mackie Designs. He cherished time with his family, whether it was cheering on the Mariners, hosting BBQs, or simply sharing his passion for music. In 1989, he and his family settled into their home in Woodinville, where they created countless memories for the next 15 years.
Alberto retired in 2016 and enjoyed traveling. In November 2014 he became the proud Abulo of Kefka Curtiss. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January 2017, he faced the challenge with incredible strength and remained in remission after a stem cell transplant for eight years.
Albert is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Star; his daughters, Danielle (Brent) Porges and Holly Morales; and his beloved grandson, Kefka Curtiss as well as two brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
