This is Bill Jasmer. Michael’s older brother. 
I was so incredibly sad to hear about Alex.   I’ve known him his whole life. I vividly remember grandma carrying him walking up and down the street in front of our houses as a tiny baby.   And his childhood friendship with my brother.   He was always there at any family function.  My mother loved him dearly and he showed her so much love and kindness back.  Even showed up to my mother’s funeral despite his rift with Michael at the time.   That respect for my mother meant the world to my family and me especially.    I will always remember him.   So sorry for you unbelievable loss.

Alex,

I am at a loss for words. Your friendship was so much more than words could ever describe. Brought together over the love of baseball, it spread to discussions over friends, family, and much more. You were a caring and compassionate person with a huge heart. I’ll miss our talks until we meet again.

Devastated to hear about Alex’s passing. Prayers for all his friends and family members. Alex and I bonded over our fandom of Griffey in Topps Bunt. He was so generous, helping me get a few grail cards. He left the game with the greatest Griffey collection compiled in the app. I was incredibly bummed when he sold his account, and when his account exchanged hands a 2nd time, I had an opportunity to buy it.  It was quite awesome sharing stories and seeing his collection grow. 

I’m truly sorry for your loss.

Alex, you will always live in my heart brother.  We worked together endless hours at Boeing on fiber optic cables, IFE systems and so much more.  My passion for collecting sports memorabilia came from you my friend.  You started me off with a collection that was being sold from someone you knew.  And that was just like you always sharing with a warm caring heart and worried about others  before yourself.  You will be genuinely missed, and I look forward to the day where we can laugh together again your buddy Steveo!

I worked with Alex for many years - I Loved to hear all about his shoe collection and even ran into him a few times at the Nike Outlet :) He loved sharing stories about his nephew and family and I looked forward to hearing them.  He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude!  So thoughtful of others and always made time for friends. He will be truly missed!

Today I say goodbye to not only a coworker, but a dear friend. Alex, It is hard to put into words how much you will be missed. Your kindness, warmth, and the way you made those around you feel valued will never be forgotten.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the conversations, and the friendship. I feel fortunate to have known you and to have shared part of life’s journey with you.

Our hearts are with your family during this incredibly difficult time. Alex was one of the most thoughtful and genuine people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and it was clear that you were the center of his world.

We feel truly blessed to have had Alex in our lives. His humor, friendship, and generous spirit touched many people, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

We hope you can find some comfort in knowing that he’s at peace. Alex was loved beyond measure. He’ll be deeply missed but never forgotten.
