
Amy passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on May 25, 2008 at the age of 95. Amy Chleo Cox was born to Ernest and Inez Cox on August 10, 1912 in Roseberry, Idaho. She married Rene Dreewes in 1929. They had a daughter Sharon and twin sons, James and Gerald. After Rene passed away in 1957, she worked many years for JCPenney, in downtown Seattle, while raising their three teenage children on her own. Amy married John Lyman in 1964. John passed away in 1979. Amy was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a member of Concord #245, Daylight #213 and Occidental #28 Chapters.
Amy is survived by daughter Sharon Don Bloom, grandchildren Susan Ron Bark, David Bloom, great-grandchildren; Krista, Ryan, and Caitlin Bark; Son James Linda Dreewes, grandchildren Teresa Johnston Dan LaFoe, Robin Miller, Jaime Rob Perry; great-grandchildren Sage and Reese LaFoe, and Rikki Miller; Son Gerald Randi Dreewes, grandchildren Julie Dreewes, Patrick Jennifer Dreewes and sister, Dorothy Liebel.

Viewing will be on Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, WA and Friday 10:00 AM until the service time. Funeral services will held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM, Evergreen-Washelli Chapel.
