After graduating from Mercer Island High School and the University of Washington, Angela “Angie” Wong attended the University of Puget Sound School of Law and continued to work in the legal field.
She sadly passed away on June 10, 2022 in Issaquah, Washington, at 59 years old.
Angie was known for her love of animals and science fiction, especially Star Trek and The X-Files.
She showed endless care for many pets throughout the years, including dogs Samantha, Charlie, and Sadie Mae and her parakeet Cindy.
Angie’s nieces have warm memories of summer days by the pool, going to Salmon Days, and seeing movies all together throughout their childhood.
While at home during the pandemic, Angie discovered and developed a passion for baking. Her family fondly remembers the delicious apple tarts she would shape into beautiful roses. Her family and friends will always remember her passionate and spirited personality.
Angie was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, godmother, and friend to many who will miss her and her commanding presence.
Angie is survived by her sister, Sharon and her husband Leo, brother Brian and his wife Joyce and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and life-long friends including her best friend Carol.
Details of a memorial service to follow.
Please consider making, in lieu of gifts, a contribution in Angie’s memory to the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), an organization that promotes social justice and the well-being and empowerment of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other underserved communities.
The Wong, Wan and Madden families thank you for honoring Angie’s legacy.
