Anna Marie York-Dean

We lost our beloved Anna Marie on Christmas morning after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend: Anna Marie was loved, admired and respected by all who truly knew her. She nourished and maintained many deep, lifelong friendships. Her quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Born 6/18/1952 to MaryAnn and William York, in Ballard. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; the ?light of her life,? fifteen year old daughter, Emily; brothers, Daniel and Gregory and their families; and many, many devoted friends. Anna graduated from Ballard High School in 1970. She worked in the seafood industry for over 30 years. For the past several years she has been the office manager for Keyport Foods, owned by Darryl Pedersen, whose loyalty and support to Anna Marie will forever be appreciated by her family. The world is a sad and lesser place without you, Anna. You will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2004, at 12 noon at Evergreen-Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle.
